I’ve gained an interest in triboelectricity and I’m curious if LAMMPS can simulate the generation of static electricity, likely leveraging the contact electrification effect.
I have been running some of the tutorials in LAMMPS, but I’m not sure if the function of contact electrification (electron transfer upon contact, sustained after separation of the molecules) is within the capabilities of the tool.
Any help is appreciated.
