I would like to ask if there is a way in OVITO to check if the particle has crossed the periodic boundary condition between two frames?
maybe during reading the file or a modifier on the pipeline!

No, not directly. In case this information is not part of your input data, e.g. in the form of LAMMPS periodic image flags, which show up as Periodic Image particle property in OVITO, you can try to use the Unwrap trajectory modifier to get continuous particle trajectories. Remember though, that there is no way to recover this information retroactively when a particle has moved a distance larger than half of the simulation cell in between two subsequent frames, so make sure your trajectory corresponds to an appropriate time resolution.
