installing a package is necessary, but not sufficient. compilation has
to be done as well.
one can easily check for whether an executable has a certain feature
installed by running LAMMPS with the -h flag.
one thing is certain. if you get "Unknown XXX style", then there is
either a typo in the input of that optional style/fix/compute is not
present in the executable.
