Difference between AIREBO and REBO

The way I see it you have two choices. You can download REBO off Brenner’s site: http://www.mse.ncsu.edu/CompMatSci/MD.tar.Z and start porting. Or you can start asking your self questions like how important are a few hundredths of an Angstrom? Most of those I know who regularly use REBO and AIREBO don’t really differentiate between the AIREBO with LJ and torsion off vs. REBO. We just use it as is. Also keep in mind that there is first generation REBO (circa 1990) and second generation REBO (circa 2002). You’ll need to be familiar with both and read any papers referencing REBO carefully to see to which version they are referring.
