I am currently working with the Materials Project API and encountered a discrepancy in the number of entries retrieved for the chemical system “C-N-O”.
• Using the API:
entries = mpr.get_entries_in_chemsys(elements=[“C”, “N”, “O”])
I received 203 entries.
• On the Materials Project Website:
When searching for the same chemical system on the web interface, I see 202 entries listed.
Is there a difference in the way data is being filtered or presented via the API versus the web interface?
I would greatly appreciate your assistance in resolving this. Please let me know if you need any additional details from my side.
