I have tried to create a project on the website but when submitting the form nothing happens. Upon inspecting network traffic ing the browser, the API responds with 500. See screenshots below.
I’ve tested on Safari and Firefox as well.

Thanks a lot! I’ve created the project there now. It does appear on the next-gen interface under my profile, but does not load when looking at the project itself, i.e. just a header and loading line is shown on https://next-gen.materialsproject.org/contribs/projects/<project code>.
That might be because there isn’t any data in the project yet. We should fix that and make it more obvious like in the original MPContribs portal: https://contribs.materialsproject.org/projects/mace_mpx_rss_demo
