Dear all,
I am trying to build LAMMPS using cygwin for windows OS. I have done everything succesfully i.e include necessary libraries, packages etc. Now when I run the makefile to create the executable, I am getting an error message which says
recipe for target ‘update.o’ failed
recipe for target ‘cygwin’(this is makefile.cygwin) failed
Below I have added my makefile for your reference.

MPI library, REQUIRED

can point to dummy MPI library in src/STUBS as in Makefile.serial

PATH = path for MPI library
LIB = name of MPI library
