We’re excited to share that we have started building an OVITO extension directory, a curated list of community extensions for OVITO Pro and the OVITO Python module. Since many of those can be used outside the GUI as well, all users will benefit. More details can be found here: www.ovito.org/extensions.
This new initiative is aimed at enhancing your OVITO experience by providing a centralized hub where you can find a variety of Python-based extensions that add more functionalities, analysis and visualization capabilities to OVITO. All extensions are easy to install and ready-to-use, but if you like you can delve into the underlying Python codes to learn more about the usage and potential of OVITO’s advanced Python API. Whether you’re a seasoned OVITO user or new to the platform, we encourage you to explore the OVITO extension directory, contribute your own developments, and engage with the community to share knowledge and insights.
