i've just made the (final?) release candidate for the next stable
LAMMPS version available on github at:
https://github.com/lammps/lammps/releases/tag/patch_7Dec2018
Please try it out and try to find bugs or problems. If there are no
reports of significant problems, we'll bless it as the last stable
version of 2018 next week.
