therefore, i think some information in the restart file is not stored well,
especially the boundary settings and box size.and is this a bug in lammps ?
so far, the only defective issue i can detect is the grey mass between
your ears.
i asked you to "produce a simple test case", not to send your inputs.
also there is no information about your platform and LAMMPS version or
anything else helpful. this is useless and cannot be debugged.
for now, i'll file this under PEBCAC.
