Dear users
I have been using gpu accelerator to run my lammps files in windows. The graphics card of my computer is ‘Nvidia Tesla K40m’. My lammps version is 24oct2018 and window version is Windows Server 2012 R2. Although there was no problem previously in running gpu, the lammps is suddenly unable to find the accelerator device. The error message it shows is ‘could not find/initialize a specified accelerator device’.
The run files and windows configurations are same. And I have also reinstalled nvidia driver. The device manager also shows the graphics card properly. So I think the graphics card is connected properly to my computer.
What can be the reason for this sudden error? Have anyone faced similar problem?
