Guass potential as repulsive well

Hello Sir,

i want to use Guass potential as obstacle particle repulsive well. It would be technically right or wrong If energy factor (A) pair coefficient replaced by negative value?

It is valid input. Whether it will produce a valid simulation is up to you to determine and not a concern for LAMMPS. LAMMPS provides the software, how you use it is up to the user.
