We are conducting a “HPC LAMMPS Master Class” workshop on June 3rd-7th 2024 at Temple U.
This is an in-person event, but we plan to live-stream the lectures to YouTube (like on the LAMMPS workshop last summer).
This workshop is specifically aimed at people that are currently developing contributions to the LAMMPS source code or plan to do so. Also, people interested in porting LAMMPS features to KOKKOS, porting external LAMMPS packages or sources that were written for older LAMMPS version to the current LAMMPS code or people looking to improve the parallel scaling of their contributions are welcome. As lecturers and consultants we have the three most prolific LAMMPS developers available.
Attendance is limited and requires registration and approval of the registration.

Very nice initiative.
Will your lecture on testing cover addition of new tests with examples and will there be a chat for questions?
Also looking forward to @stamoor introduction to KOKKOS porting because I still have a hard time figuring some things out when I try to give it some time. 
That is the general idea. Please note that some basic examples for some tests are already given in the manual at: 4.12. Adding tests for unit testing — LAMMPS documentation
This assumes familiarity with the googletest framework.
Haven’t thought about this one (the plan was originally to do in-person only, but then some changes to the program were forced on us, like the live streaming of the lectures, due to the requirements of the funding for the activity). We could re-use the https://lammpsworkshop.slack.com slack from the recent LAMMPS workshops. I would just need to create a new token and post it on the workshop website, so people can subscribe that are not yet subscribed from previous events.
