Dear LAMMPS users,When I was using the velocity command for single direction cutting, the output stress showed alternating positive and negative values. May I ask why this is? Was it an error in my in file?
How should anybody be able to answer this without being a mind reader (of you and your computer)??
This is rather useless and not helping much. What is particularly irritating is that a lot of what you need to know and do is posted in a topic starting with “Please Read this First…”. Why do you think it is there? Why do you act as if it doesn’t apply to you? Can you imagine how frustrating it is to explain the same things over and over again to people??
For example, I just a few hours ago explained in a different topic why using screenshot pictures is not helpful and some more issues (most of which also apply here).
In fact, your post is even worse. There is no context, no explanations, no simple way to reproduce what you see and thus understand what is your concern. Please recall, that we don’t know you, don’t know anything about your research, your training, your background. You don’t even use a name, but just a number.
