Isothermal compressibility

Hi.

I want to calculate the Isothermal compressibility in liquids with LAMMPS in real unit.
As i know we can calculate it with this way :

Kt = ( <v^2> - ^2 ) / KbT

But the problem is i don’t know why i can’t extract the correct unit from this formula ( it should be “Pressure^-1” ) !!!

Can you please let me know if this formula is correct or not ?

Thanks.

Your algebra must be off because to me it looks like the units of Kt in your formula are in fact in 1/Pressure. As to whether or not the formula is correct, I really don’t know but it should be in most textbooks.
