JKR contact model

Hi,
While searching for possible implementation of the JKR contact model in LAMMPS, i came across the following earlier post,

in which Steve mentioned that,

Noting that this was July of last year, I was just wondering about the approximate release date of this model? very much hope it will be released soon.

Also wondering how is the model implemented? I actually noticed a report from 2010, in which the JKR model is implemented into LAMMPS! Does it follow the approach in this report?

Nothing new on our end. Not familiar with the 2010

report, but if it’s the granular group at Sandia, then yes,

it would be those folks.
