I am a graduate student working on md simulations. I want to use Lowe-Anderson thermostat for md simulations of carbon nano-tube. Does Lammps have Lowe-Anderson thermostat? if no, Can we specify a custom thermostat in Lammps.

no - it has Langevin and Nose/Hoover and Berendsen thermostats.
If you want to add a LA, you would need to write a new fix,
which is not hard to do. All of those thermostats are fixes.

Any thermostat not in LAMMPS (and the Lowe-Anderson is not, as far as I know), needs to be coded in.
