Dear LAMMPS Users and Developers!
The time since the last LAMMPS workshop in 2021 has been challenging for some of the core LAMMPS developers for a number of reasons, thus - despite a lot of interest - there will be no LAMMPS Workshop this year. Traditionally, those workshops have been organized only every two years, anyway. So we will aim to organize the next full workshop in Summer 2023.
In the meantime we have looked into what else we can offer that is useful to all of the LAMMPS users, that can be organized with limited effort, and that includes something that we enjoy doing, i.e. programming LAMMPS.
The result is the LAMMPS Code Clinic 2022 which place this summer between August 8th, 2022 and September 2nd, 2022.
During the period we would like to make a concerted effort to apply some improvements to either the LAMMPS source code, the LAMMPS manual, or code in external packages (or your own) and at the same time shake knowledge about LAMMPS, practice programming for a community software, and foster collaboration between developers.
