The AIREBO potential used the distance between the two C atoms and the
number of neighors to determine whether there is a bond and what kind of
bond it is (sp2 bond/sp3 bond/partial bonds/LJ potential).
So you do not explicitly specify the bond type, and the distance and
neighbor environment determine it.
