I am using fix/temprescale command to fix the temperature of a region by scaling the velocities every 10timesteps. I also want to know the change in Kinetic energy of atoms before and after this scaling. There is an option in this fix to get the energy (return energy). I am wondering if this energy gives the sum of all energy changes upto that particular timestep or just gives the energy change at that particular timestep.
