[lammps-users] fix thermal/conductivity for non-periodic domains?

Dear Lammps users and Steve:

I was wondering if somebody has already implemented the fix thermal/conductivity for non-periodic domains (say p p s)?

I am tempted to do the implementation, but probably somebody else has already done this.

Otherwise, I was planning to exchange two particles (or 2*nswap) from two cool regions at the sides and one hot region in the center. The problem might be that the heat fluxes will be different on each side, any suggestion?

At some point I was going to add an option for non-PBC to exchange
between top and bottom. But that's different than what you outline
below, which would assume some sort of symmetry in your system.
