I inform of an open postdoc position in my group for 1 year, possibly 1 year more, Starting next May.
The topics is about molecular interaction of satellite debris erosion and the atmospheric re-entry.
MD and DFT-MD simulations are planned for describing air interaction with various Aluminum alloys at temperature/velocities corresponding to atmospheric re-entry.
Collaboration is under way with laboratory experiments mimicking such conditions for handling relevant comparisons.
