I am trying to convert the msi (.car and .mdf) files to LAMMPS data file but
the converter exits with errors when I try to get it in the 2001 version
format.
Here is what I get:
I'm not an author or user of msi2lmp, so I don't know why
it is crashing. However, the data file format is very similar
for 2001 vs 2005. So if you can get msi2lmp to produce
a 2005 data file, you should be able to do very minor
editing to massage it into a 2001 data file.
