Hi everyone,
I am trying to simulate indentation behavior on a metallic system.Everything is ok except the F-d curve.I am getting rapid fluctuation in curve.I have gone through several references and the curve is smooth.I am not sure whether those are fitted curves or actual data. If actual,how to obtain that one?I have changed the force constant several times and done minimization well.Checked the visualization also.Everything is ok but only the F-d curve is not what it looks like to be from the references.Anyone has any idea?Please let me know.
If I use more smaller indenter steps and minimize after each step,will it help?But I am not sure about the justification of minimizing during the dynamic indentation process.
