[lammps-users] reporting stress tensor and average velocity for granular systems

Dear list

there was a fix gran/diag command to save the stress,velocity and density data in separate data files with the names as tmp.str, tmp.vel and tmp.den respectively

when i started using new-version , i didn’t find a suitable command which works as fix gran/diag in the earlier versions

i tried with “compute” and “thermo_style” commands

please let me know if anybody used the recent version for granular systems

The fix ave/spatial command will do 1d binning of any quantity.
So you can do one for stress (components), one for a velocity profile, one
for density.
