Dear lammps-users,
has anyone tested the scalability of 'minimize' command?
Maybe it would be nice to have the corresponding benchmarking problem in the /bench directory as well...

A minimize is just force/energy evaluations, same as timestepping.
Though there may be many such evals per iteration of the minimizer.
A bigger problem may also require more iterations to converge.
But those are basic optimization issues, not LAMMPS issues.
