[lammps-users] Time step

Dear all,

I am a novice of MD simulation, and I am wondering why should we choose the timestep as the picosecond, not nanosecond, even micro magnitude? It’s maybe a fool question, but I really want to know why. Will you give me some interpretation or evidence?
