The version of VMD is 1.8.7. And the triclinic box is created in the simulation, when the outfile file is imported in the vmd. It appears “lammpsplugin: Scaled coordinates with triclinic box are not (yet) supported” . It seems some files should be installed to support the vmd. How to deal with this problem? Thanks!

the VMD mailing list.

the mantra of open source software is: you want it? you write it!
luckily (for you) somebody else (me) wanted it before you did. with a
little research through the lammps mailing list archives, you should have
seen that the latest VMD alpha test versions now do support triclinic
cells in all possible variants (to the best of my knowledge). have a look at:

i have also posted the sources for the updated plugin at:
http://sites.google.com/site/akohlmey/software/lammps-icms/
in case you don't want to install a VMD alpha version and
rather compile and update the plugin by yourself.
