Minimization changes neighbor modify (LAMMPS 29 Sept 2021)

Dear Users and Developers,

While equilibrating my system I use “every 5 delay 0 check no”, but when I do Minimization after equilibartion it changes it to “every 1 delay 0 check yes”. Is there a way where I can avoid that?

P.S :- Atleast I want to avoid the “check yes” condition.

No. It is only temporary. The original settings will be restored after the minimization is completed.

But would not the minimization will be done by “every 1 delay 0 check yes”?

Why?

Due to some modification in source code done in LAMMPS, I wanted to avoid updating the neighbor list according to the skin mentioned in the “neigbor bin command”.

I would be grateful if you reply.

That would be a bad modification then. There currently is no workaround.
