We just published a new feature release of LAMMPS and made it available for download.

In addition there are a bunch of refactoring changes and bugfixes “under the hood” to improve the codebase and make future additions easier. Also, thanks to the good folks at Leadership Computing Facility at the Oak Ridge National Laboratory, that are testing their latest supercomputer, we’ve been addressing some issues they ran into when running very large molecular systems with billions of molecules with LAMMPS on a very large number of CPU cores (over 250,000). More of that to come in the next months.
