HI. Can someone help me understand if it’s normal that every time I click the link materialprojects.org, I get redirected to the address next-gen.materialsproject.org? Is this the new link? I’m new to this field, and every time I search for videos on YouTube to understand how to use this site and download the database, they all refer to the old version of the site, which is really confusing for me. I’m new to this field and need your kind support. I’d really appreciate your help! Thank You
Hi @Sara_Alizadeh, the next gen site is being actively developed by the Materials Project. The legacy site is still around as is the legacy API. Most of the reference materials you have for the legacy site/API will still apply, but that feature set may eventually stop working. For reference material on the next-gen API, see this page
