Hi;
Does anybody know how I can deposit a nanocluster on a substrate surface?
I have an al2o3 cluster above a Ni substrate that I want deposit it to all over the surface.
I know the Fix deposit command but I think it’s for atomic deposition and I can’t use this command for this purpose.
The code file has been attached to this mail.

thanks

if you want to move the cluster toward the surface, give it a little
nudge, i.e. add a small center of mass velocity toward the surface and
it will go there. remember newton's laws of motion!

fix deposit is to *create* new particles. since you have your cluster
already in the system, you don't need it.

AIIIHHH. please get rid of temp/rescale... it is bad for you.
