Open Position for PhD Student in the Gissinger Group

Do you want to help design the next generation of materials used for space exploration? Are you interested in getting a PhD? A fully funded position is available in Prof. Jacob Gissinger’s group at Stevens Institute of Technology, starting Spring 2024. The research will involve computational modeling of high-performance polymers and composites for use in extreme environments.

Students should have a background in materials science, chemical engineering or related fields. Proficiency in programming is a plus. The applicant should be excited to learn about computational materials science and machine learning.
