parallel simulation

Dear all,

is it necessary to define processor command in script for parallel simulation ? or it will take by its own while we run script and define number of processor ?

how i know that simulation is using same number number of processor which i gave?

please ​check the ou​tput to the screen or the log file that LAMMPS
produces.
