Dear lammps user,
While running my input script file, I am getting an error:
“Unknown fix style rigid (…/modify.cpp:898)”
I have already made the lammps executable by installing the RIGID package.
I need to know if any supporting packages need to be installed for running programs with fix rigid command.
I am currently using the LAMMPS version 7th Aug’2019.
I will highly appreciate any kind of help in this matter.

well, the executable says differently.

no, the RIGID package has no dependencies (and if it had, they would be listed in the manual). so either you didn’t install the package correctly, or you have not compiled a new executable, or you are using an old executable.
this is definitely not a LAMMPS issue but something that you did incorrectly.
