I’m trying to run a simulation with lammps. but it has some problem with data files. and it’s not just with data files of my simulation, even it can’t open data files of lammps example.
the error is:Cannot open file data.pegc12e8 (read_data.cpp:1576)

first you should state that this is the USER/cg-cmm/peg-verlet example.
second you should state which version of LAMMPS exactly you are using.
third you can compare the input with the documentation and debug it
yourself or update to the current version version of LAMMPS where this
little oversight is corrected. this is extremely easy to correct, if
you read the input and compare it to the documentation and follow the
general strategies to debug an input (e.g. use -echo screen to
determine the exact failing input line).
