I assume you are talking about example scripts included in LAMMPS
which means they were provided by the original author. So presumably
he/she verified there were producing correct answers. If there are
dated log files in that dir (usually there are), and the current log files
disagree in some significant way, then let us know. That might be
a bug we have introduced. But otherwise for USER packages,
it is usually best to ask technical Qs to the original author. E.g. to ask why
the log file output is correct (or not). Posting the original Qs or
the ultimate answers to the mail list is also fine, since it may be useful
to others in the future.
