sorry, there are no guarantees. LAMMPS is for the most part a community supported project, thus problems get resolved, when people have an interest to fix the issue or have the time and nothing more pressing to work on. we often even have people that discover problem, figure out and submit bugfixes themselves (even if they didn’t write the code in question).
if the issue is fixed, Would you mind sending me an email?
sorry, we don’t have the time and resources to manually keep track of these things.
if you want to get notified, please go to the LAMMPS github project and properly submit your bug report as an issue. that way, your bug report will remain visible (e-mails have a tendency to vanish if not acted upon immediately, especially on high-volume mailing lists) and you will be notified, when the issue is closed.
when you go there, you’ll also see, that there is a significant number of bug reports and feature requests still open. so you may have to wait your turn (or take the initiative in your own hands).
axel.
