Thanks. I have checked the doc about pair_modify. However pair_modify shift applied all substyles of hybrid pair style, not specific substyle.

you need to learn to read more carefully. you have obviously
overlooked the pair flag.
you can very well selectively apply the shift to pair styles, for as
long as they support it.
