RDF deverge

I calculated RDF in a colloidal system, when I increased one of the system parameters, RDF did not converge to 1 at high r, but g(r) increased rapidly to high value and did not decrease. Note that above the parameter thrshold the g(r) converges normaly to 1.

Only for homogeneous systems in equilibrium.

Thank you for your prompt response and clarification
The system is homogeneous and isotopic. Below the threshold the system acts as a hard sphere, after the threshold RDF shows the figure in the attachment.

That is what you say. Where is the proof?

In general, please note that nobody can give you much useful help without you being as extremely vague as you currently are. Just seeing your result or you describing it, does not provide enough context to advise anything tangible. The numbers are the numbers. So, either you are not interpreting your results correctly, or are doing something that is not quite correct, or there is a bug in LAMMPS. The latter is very unlikely, since the rdf command has seen some close scrutiny over many years of its existence.

Thank you for your feedback. I’ll review my approach and ensure I’m interpreting the results correctly before considering any issues with LAMMPS

… it crystallised?
