Recording output of fix_deposit command

Dear lammpsers and developers,

I was wondering if there is a way of recording the time step at which particles were deposited successfully into a separate file (as in many cases deposition is unsuccessful, and I want to see exactly when deposition happened).

You can print thermo output on the deposit steps and the current
atom count. That should tell you whether the deposition was
successful.
