Regarding Morse parameters for an alloy

Thanks Mr. Steve,
I think this is trial and error based to obtain the shape of the potential.

As I have to mix the potential parameters for both these materials, does it depend upon the percentage in which they occur in the alloy.
For example, In this alloy Be is 2% in Copper. For 2% Be or any other percentages, Will potential parameters remain the same?

Can LJ potential be used for metallic/alloy system for interaction between alloying elements(as it is only suitable for inert gases)?

Simple pairwise potentials like Morse are not typically parameterized

for the composition fraction of an alloy. Any two Cu/Be atoms interact

the same way, no matter how many such pairs there are.

More sophisticated many-body potentials account for the composition
of the local environment

around the pair
