Segmentation fault when run read_restart

Dear Lammps Users,

I try to simulate particles at the oil/water interface. I want the interaction between beads on the particle surface and/or particle - solvent is DPD type, while interaction between particle-particle is colloid interaction, and hence, I use pair_style hybrid dpd 1.0 1.0 34387 colloid 7. It can work well with read_data, however, It stops with read_restart with error: segmentation fault.

I run with Lammps 2012.02 version. I searched the old emails but can not find how to fix it. Could you please suggest how to fix it?. I also put my input, data, and error file in the attachment (in case you need it).

Many thanks for your help.

Cheers,

XC

you haven't looked through the mailing list archives
very carefully. this is a known bug and has been
fixed about two weeks ago.

http://lammps.sandia.gov/threads/msg27987.html

the resulting bugfix is currently in the LAMMPS-ICMS branch only
and has not yet propagated to the official LAMMPS repository,
since steve has been too busy and/or was away from the office.

in the meantime, you can replace the pair_hybrid.cpp file
with the one attached to the archived mailing list mail or
download/install LAMMPS-ICMS.
