Is it possible to apply orientation dependent active force on the particles in a LAMMPS simulation ? In my model, the orientation evolves with time. In addition, the particles interact among themselves via repulsive Coulomb force and are affected by a global harmonic attractive force and a Langevin thermostat need to be used.
All features supported by LAMMPS are described in the LAMMPS documentation.
You can use the search box to search for specific keywords.
There may be additional styles written by researchers and optionally described in publications, that have not been submitted for inclusion into the LAMMPS distribution. LAMMPS is Open Source and designed to be easy to modify but not everybody feels compelled to contribute there changes to the distribution for a wide variety of reasons and there is no way to force people to disclose that. You thus have search the published literature or the web, if what the LAMMPS distribution includes does not suit your needs and you don’t feel like modifying LAMMPS yourself.
Thanks for the information.
