Dear my friends

We want to calculate the surface tension of water by using this script**,*g = lz(c_my_pres[3]-(c_my_pres[1]+c_my_pres[2])/2.0)/2

But how do we choose the value of parameter lz?

Hi Hamid,
Lz is the dimension of interface region beyond which the fluid is homogeneous. To understand it, you should find the original defiition (integral form) for the surface tension.
