I am eager to know if you want to add the time-evolution to the BSE calculation soon?
cause I saw in the source codes related to BSE in the ‘bse.f90’ which written ‘alternatively, a time-evolution method shall be implemented to obtain the macroscopic dielectric function’.
Since I am interested in doing such a calculation for a real-time BSE,

Hi Nasrin,
Time-dependent TDDFT is in the process of being implemented in exciting. I believe a parallelised version is targeting release this year, although the serial version has been available since Oxygen release.
This is not the same formalism as time-dependent BSE, which is actually a new formalism, with significant differences to how the standard BSE is formulated. I’m not aware of any codes that implement this beyond prototype concepts.
