Hi, I have been running some TTM/mod simulations with a 50fs laser pulse applied to Aluminum. I noticed that there is a steady temperature rise in the electron system, even if no laser is applied. This rise is proportional to the length of each timestep. The shorter the time step the faster the electron system temperature rises. Regular TTM does not have this temperature increase and the system stays around 300K. I suspect it may have something to do with the way electron-phonon interactions are calculated, has anyone come across this issue? Thanks in advance!
