I am new to NOMAD, so I am not sure.
According to the base linux install instructions of fairmat NOMAD, I see that the requirement is python3.9
It looks like you are using python3.12

Hello!

Earlier versions of nomad might not support py3.12 as sherin suggested.

But the latest versions available from gitlab index supports py3.12 now.

For the latest version, are you using a virtual env and was it activated when you installed the package and tried to import nomad?

I have no experience installing it in base linux. I am just trying to use the docker-based one. I am curious to know if there a specific reason why you are installing everything manually instead of using the docker-based solution?
