Unable to use kimpy

Hey

Whenever I try and use kimpy I get “AttributeError: ‘tuple’ object has no attribute ‘get_item_type’” from line 68 in kimpy wrappers
Which comes from line 211 in kim.py
Which comes from line 117 in kim.py

I’ve even tried just copying the example from the website and it doesn’t work

Any ideas?

Hi Adam,

This is due to your versions of ASE and/or kimpy being out-of-date. Are you able to upgrade to the latest stable releases of each?

Yeah you were right just had to uninstall and reinstall kimpy to get it to work

Should have thought of that
