Viscosity Calculation using in.wall.2d

Dear Lammps Users,

I am running viscosity calculations using the in.wall.2d example script provided in the Lammps example directory. I've used two different versions of LAMMPS, 11 Aug 2017 (available on Talapas HPC located at the University of Oregon) and 31 Mar 2017 (available on XSEDE Comet), but I cannot reproduce the values as described by the README file in the Lammps example directory and the log output file from the examples provided by LAMMPS.

I've attached the original Lammps log file from 2016, as well as the two log files I got from running the script on two different 2017 versions of Lammps.

Please let me know if there is anything I may have missed while running the scripts or any modifications I should have included.

Thank you for your time,

~Emma Tran

i suspect that this is just an indication of the statistical errors. you
should see similar size variations of the result when using a different
number of processors, for example. with fix langevin a tiny change (e.g.
through different compiler optimization) can quickly result in diverging
trajectories.
